Vittorio Belli

Vittorio Belli is a graduate from the Forlì High School for Visual Arts, and he has long worked as an illustrator for books and textbooks from his studio on the Cesena hills. In addition to that, he is also into artistic research, as testified by some recent exhibitions.

He first entered our Bottega with our dearest friend Fabio Molari, and he gave us some drawings for a show to be held in the fascinating abbey of Montetiffi (near Rimini) in September 2004 during the town festival.

The title of that first exhibition was “Gazutein” (little bird, in the local dialect). His drawings seem to be chirping, and his printed nativity scenes seem to inspire peace and joy. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he masterfully illustrated the phases of the Stamperia’s printing process.
